Avto moto turing klub (AMTK) Velenje was founded in 1982. Our main area of activity is to organize and run motorsport events in the country of Slovenia. So far, we have been involved with hillclimbs, auto slaloms, closed track races and our core area - rally.\nWe are proud to be an organizer of almost 40 rallies in Velenje, along which we also prepared many tourist rallies (casual type of rally competition). We are honored that our rally is a part of the Slovenian national championship and the Mitropa Cup. In 2016, our rally was also a part of the CEZ championship and the European Rally Trophy competition. Our expertise was also called upon, when the historic Beijing to Paris rally passed through our vicinity, showcasing many interesting old-timer vehicles to numerous enthusiasts.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

2021 marked another large step forward for us, since the organizers of the WRC Croatia Rally contacted us to help them in various roles (safety cars, stage commanders, track marshals, \u2026). Thanks to our many years of experience, the two special stages which were trusted to us ran without a hitch and thus our cooperation with them continues to this day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our club members are volunteers, which love the smell of petrol and burnt rubber. They put in many hours on and off track to make thing happen and to ensure everything is done by the book. Many of them are seasoned track marshals, who cooperate with other organizers in Slovenia and help them as stage commanders, clerks of the course, etc.

These members are key to a successful event, since their experience and knowledge helps any organizer keep their event at the highest level possible. Our 30+ team of marshals receive yearly training courses through our NTL and through practical experience.\n\nAlso, we always welcome new members, who share our passion for motorsport. :)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
